I am a sociology student and researcher who focuses on gender, sexuality, and the experiences of sexual minorities. My work explores how identity, social structures, and cultural norms shape lived experiences, particularly emphasizing qualitative methods and intersectional analysis. I have conducted independent research on nonbinary college students' responses to deadnaming and misgendering, using interview-based methods to examine the relationship between gender presentation and social recognition.
Beyond research, I work as a Registered Behavioral Therapist, helping children with developmental disabilities learn social, communication, and cognitive skills to succeed.
My skills include qualitative coding, thematic analysis, and mentorship. In the future, I aim to continue exploring the social dimensions of gender and sexuality through graduate study and advocacy-driven research.
